New Anemone type lilies for the 2008.

Are you a fan of the many petaloid style of waterlilies sometimes referred to as Anemone type? These all started with George Pring's fabulous N. Midnight back in 1941. The gauntlet of furthering this beautiful type of waterlily was later taken up and excelled at by Leeann Connelly with her beautiful N. Joseph Baynard Shearouse. She also produced N. Blue Anemone. These lilies were at the forefront at that time. Many of the most popular and even most sought after lilies today owe their pedigree to Leeann's work. Ken has several that will be shown in the pools next year. Follow the above link to see what lies ahead.

Color Corrected N. capensis Thunberg

New Species N. minuta

Come see N. minuta. A new species that will change the waterlily industry in the coming years. It is a pygmy lily. It will grow and thrive in shade. Most impotantly it is passing these characteristics into new crosses that are enabling new never before seen small lilies. People who do not have room for any size pond will be able to grow a waterlily in a tub container with ease in the near future.

Here is a link to the newest page of N. minuta information. It is a page with a large amount of unpublished N. minuta research photos from the last several years.

New Australian Hybrid
