Nymphaea ‘Praow’ also spelled as Nymphaea ‘Praw’

Nymphaea ‘Praow’ also spelled as Nymphaea ‘Praw’ is a tropical lily created by Dr. Slearmlarp Wasuwat. It’s publication date is 1982. It is described as a medium pink flower with slightly mottled pads.

Garet’s description…

Personally, I feel that this is one of Dr. Wasuwat’s nicest hybrids which was produced between Nymphaea ‘Trailblazer’ x Nymphaea ‘Mr. Martin E. Randig’. He named it in honor of his daughter, Primlarp who goes by the nickname of Praw. Unfortunately there are many imposter’s of this lily out there and the true lily is very rare, even in Thailand. This one was received directly from Dr. Wasuwat.

Flowers are deep pink-red; sharp and narrow petals. Leaves are green on both sides with occasional flecks. Sinus is open and usually turned upward.

The photo of the entire plant helps so that people can compare the leaves of the true Nymphaea ‘Praow’ with those from the black market version in Thailand.
