Nymphaea 'Andre Leu'

Nymphaea ‘Andre Leu’

Nymphaea ‘Andre Leu’ is a selection from seedlings out of Nymphaea gigantea. It has a rose pink cup and green pads. It was named by William Phillips in honor of Andre Leu of Australia. It’s date of publication is 2001.

Below are some controlled crosses made by Garet Uemura of Hawaii. These are not named varieties at this time.
This does show the amazing variety and depth of color possibility within this group of waterlilies.
Remember that Nymphaea ‘Andre Leu’ was itself only a selection of Nymphaea gigantea.
