A new nymphaea taxon of the Subgenus Brachyceras. A self-sustaining species possessing purple to blue flowers indigenious to East Africa currently under research at the International Waterlily Preservation Repository. Specific data will be available upon completion of reaserch. Specimen will be on display at the International Waterlily Collection, San Angelo, Texas, summer 2009.
